handicap sticker...

okay we have always joked about getting one of these...but i think we NEED one of these now..to make shopping and going to the hospital a little easier. so i need help, i have no clue how to get one. so PLEASE comment on how i go about getting one of these for jason. It is much appreciated! :)

    Mom said that she was able to get one through her doctor. They just asked her some questions and did the paperwork for her. Hope that helps :)

    Have you been able to get him on Social Security Disability also? Sorry to pry but maybe that will help too. Codi ;)

    we dont qualify for goverment assistance. :( ill call the dr tomorrow and see if they can get us one! thanks

    Wait...you guys should be able to get SSI disability for Jason and other stuff to help through the Utah State office of Rehab. I think the website is USOR.org. We had a patient who was filing for SSI disability and she had stage IV melanoma.

    Go to this web sight and you can print out the application and it has instructions on how and what you do. Its easy I had to get one for my son. Pretty quick. bring paper into doctor they usually can fill out that same day. You get it back and take it to utah state tax commission. It doesnt cost anything. http://www.ehow.com/how_2080879_obtain-disabled-parking-permit-utah.html. Hope this works. My thoughts and prayers are with the two of you.

    I was diagnosed with melanoma in march 2011. I was looking for information on getting a handicapped parking sticker and came upon your story. I was so disappointed to read that Jason did not make it. What a beautiful story you have and I'm sure you wouldn't trade the memories for anything. I know you miss him. I hope you go forward and take this experience with you if for nothing other than to know to cherish every single moment of your life. I know I am.
